Complete Switchgear Assemblies (CSA)
Complete Switchgear Assemblies (CSA) ensure uninterrupted power distribution in networks with an isolated neutral. Their reliable operation under normal and emergency conditions enables the operation of complete transformer substations and other electrical equipment.
CSA units are designed for voltages of 10(6) kV and feature busbar rated currents ranging from 630 to 3150 A, ensuring their suitability for a wide range of electrical systems.

Design Features:
- Indoor switchgear (ISG) 10(6) kV is assembled from individual Complete Switchgear Assembly (CSA) cubicles, each containing the equipment for one connection to the ISG busbars.
- The internal space of each switchgear cubicle is divided into a relay protection compartment and three high-voltage compartments: busbar, vacuum circuit breaker, and cable compartments.
- Each high-voltage compartment of the cubicle is equipped with an individual pressure-relief valve, with all valves integrated into a common CSA arc-fault protection system.
- Vacuum circuit breakers (BB/Tel, VD4) are used as switching devices.
- The cubicle design incorporates a separate line earthing switch for the cable connection.
- Any cubicle within a section can be replaced without dismantling the adjacent cubicles.
The main equipment is mounted on a withdrawable truck that can be moved into the service aisle, allowing access to the high-voltage cable and power equipment without interrupting the operation of the switchgear.
For a two-row arrangement of CSA cubicles, the switchgear is equipped with busbar bridges. The distance between the front panels of the cubicles can be 2,000, 2,500, or 3,000 mm.
The characteristics of the CSA are provided in the Technical Specifications tab, while the circuit diagrams and overall dimensions are provided in the Schematics/Drawings tab. Additional equipment and functional features are also specified.
The set of diagrams provided is not exhaustive. Depending on the requirements of the switchgear, the cubicle design may be modified.
Nika Energy manufactures high-quality and reliable Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) cabinets that meet specified requirements.
