Low-Voltage Switchgear Panels – Single-Front Access (90 and 70 Series)

Low-Voltage Switchgear Panels – Single-Front Access (90 and 70 Series), also known as Single-front Maintenance Switchgear Cubicles, are electrical distribution systems designed for the reception, distribution, and protection of electrical power. These assemblies also protect electrical feeders against overloads and short circuits.

They are designed for operation in three-phase AC networks with a solidly grounded neutral, with a rated voltage of up to 660 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.

  • Incoming and distribution panel — combines the functions of power reception and distribution.
  • Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panel — ensures an uninterrupted power supply by automatically switching to a backup source.

These systems are also available in four installation categories and can be equipped with multiple levels of protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuits, unauthorized access, and environmental influences.

For example, the Single-front Maintenance Switchgear Cubicle is often manufactured as a single-sided sandwich panel, providing a lightweight structure, excellent thermal insulation, and high resistance to external conditions.

How to Choose Type 70 / Type 90 Low-Voltage Switchgear Panels

Selecting the right enclosed or open switchgear assembly depends on the technical requirements of your facility. For example, if you need a compact solution with a high level of safety, a wall-mounted distribution switchboard with a mounting panel is often the optimal choice.

You can order the panel either as a fully factory-assembled switchboard or as a component kit for on-site assembly. Type 70 switchboard cabinets are available in both floor-standing and wall-mounted versions and are manufactured to the specified dimensions.

The end panel is also produced according to the individual project requirements and applicable technical standards. It may be perforated to provide natural ventilation.
