Legend
Compact Transformer Substations for Urban Networks (CTSUN) of Loop-Through and Radial Types have the following specifications:
- Power rating: 100 to 2,500 kVA.
- High-voltage rating: 6 or 10 kV.
- Low-voltage rating: 0.4 kV.
- Purpose: Receiving, transforming, and distributing three-phase AC power at a frequency of 50 Hz.
- Applications: Urban power networks, industrial facilities, and large agricultural consumers.
- Climatic conditions: Operating temperature range from -45°C to +40°C.
The high-voltage incoming connection can be overhead or cable, while the low-voltage outgoing feeders are typically cable-connected (overhead connection is possible for substations rated up to 400 kVA).
CTSUN substations can be configured with one or two transformers, with automatic or manual bus sectioning on both the high- and low-voltage sides. On the low-voltage side, switch-disconnectors with fuses or circuit breakers are installed.
The CTSUN configuration includes high-voltage air-inlet cubicles, low-voltage switchgear, a power transformer, and an outdoor line disconnector with earthing blades, rated at 10 kV and 400 A (upon request).
Additionally, upon request, the substations can be equipped with street lighting circuits with manual or automatic control, as well as reactive power compensation units.
