Main Distribution Board (MDB)

The Main Distribution Board (MDB) is used both at industrial facilities and in ordinary commercial premises and residential buildings. The MDB is low-voltage equipment designed to receive and distribute electrical power and to protect facilities against overloads, leakage currents, and short circuits.
The modular block design of the MDB allows various configurations to be created, including different options for arranging the functional units. This design also provides quick access to all switching devices and components, enabling fast and efficient maintenance.
The Main Distribution Board (MDB), or Main Distribution Device, is required to perform the following functions:
- connection of power supply lines;
- distribution of electrical power to consumers;
- monitoring of power supply quality;
- restoration of power supply quality in the event of malfunctions;
- protection against overloads and short circuits;
- measurement of electricity consumption.
